A pair of pop princesses are swapping the stage for pounding the streets of London for a 10k run.

Daizy Agnew, from Maidenhead, and bandmate Phoebe Brown are two of the three-piece girl band Girls Can't Catch, who toured with Girls Aloud and have already had two hit singles.

They are running the 10k race for The Fostering Network, which looks to improve the lives of children in care and support foster carers.

The subject is close to Daizy's heart, whose mother is a foster carer.

"We've had an eclectic mix from young children to late teens. It's been a real eye opener," she said of being involved in fostering. I understand how challenging it can be to foster but I also know the rewards are great."
